Sending an enquiry does not engage us and does not commit either of us to anything. Work begins when it has been scoped, quoted and accepted in writing.

We keep this site accurate and current, and it may still be wrong or out of date. Figures, methods and descriptions given here are general. Nothing on this site is a survey, a valuation, an opinion on a particular cargo or vessel, or advice you should act on without asking us about your own case.

What belongs to whom

The text, images, layout and software of this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from. Read it, quote it, link to it, print it for your own use. Do not republish it as your own, and do not copy the site.

Where we link somewhere else, we do not control it and are not responsible for what is on it.
